Hi, my name is Karsten.
Since 2007 I have been active in Live Action Role Play (LARP) and since my first days in the hobby I have been fascinated by pewtercast badges.
That's why, in 2020, the words Middle Ages and my character's name – Bero – merged into MIBERO.
Since then, I have been making objects out of pewter and thus fulfilling a small dream: I make things that last. Objects that conjure up a smile and express a beautiful memory or feeling.
The common badge of a role-playing group creates connectedness and unity. The special moments that we associate with a piece of jewelry are experienced again and again when wearing it and we tell others about these experiences. No wonder we love pewter jewelry. It accompanies us, ages with us, almost as if it were alive.

Usually, everything starts with a digital drawing. This results in a model from modelling clay - in very thin layers - piece by piece and all by hand.
After burning, it is filed, ground and polished, then moulded. When the mould is ready, the casting with tin SN95 follows. Every single cast is cleaned at the end (that's what deburring and filing is called).
